Manually, the inspection plug can be screwed into the cut thread up to two turns without excessive force. If it screws in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Hand Test for Gewinde Quality: The Ausschusslehrdorn can be screwed into the cut Gewinde by hand, up to two turns without extra force
- Gewinde Quality Indicator: If the Ausschusslehrdorn can be screwed in further, the Gewinde does not meet the desired standards (Ausschuss)
- Reference Temperature for Parts and Gauges: A reference temperature of 20°C applies to all parts and gauges
- Manufacturer's Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL can provide a Werkskalibrierschein upon request (price available upon inquiry)
- Independent Laboratory Calibration: Calibration is performed in an independent lab following established standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
