This 3-inch aperture, high-grade adjustable housing platform is designed for installation below ceilings. It accommodates up to 50W low voltage MR16 tungsten-halogen lamps. Suitable for 2x6 residential or shallow commercial installations, with insulation kept 3 inches away from the top and sides. Its integral Truvolt toroidal transformer ensures full light output and low noise, making it ideal for remodeling older constructions. A complete setup requires the RPN3MR platform and a 3-inch IRiS element, which can be changed post-installation for varied distributions. Elements are visually identical and match when new and remodel fixtures are installed together. Not compatible with E3SA or self-flanged options.
